Dr. Eliyahu-Levi is the head of the Hebrew language high school department and the head of the Hebrew department – language and literacy at the primary school in the Levinsky College of Education. She is cooperating teacher and researcher at the Hebrew language, education and immigration in Israel and throughout the world, and implementation of finding in the field. Her research focuses on multiculturalism and multi-linguistic issues, on developing intercultural competence, and on designing learning-teaching processes based on the principles of emotional-social learning. Dr. Eliyahu-Levi teaches courses on discourse analysis, rhetoric discourse practice, cultural-social resilience of minority communities, and teaching a second language in formal and informal education.
