Carole
Wenger

Dr. Carole Wenger is a postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Ethnic and Migration Studies (CEDEM) at the University of Liège. Her research explores how migrants navigate healthcare across borders and how diasporic networks shape access to care. Working at the intersection of migration, health, and transnational studies, she examines how migrants mobilise formal and informal resources, social ties, and mobility to meet healthcare needs between countries of residence and origin. Her work focuses in particular on Tunisian migrants in Europe and engages with broader questions about transnational social protection, diasporic connections, and the ways migrants exercise agency in pursuing healthcare across transnational social fields.
