I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Sociology, Umeå University. My main research interest concern the causes and consequences of discrimination. I primarily study the relationship between socio-political contexts, such as native attitudes and elite discourses, and perceived discrimination among immigrants in Europe. I addition , I also study health outcomes and health inequalities among different minority groups.
My research is conducted within the project "Disentangling Discrimination in Europe: Patterns, processes, and consequences of discrimination experiences among multiple targeted groups in a comparative perspective" funded by the Swedish Research Council (VR)
