I obtained a Master’s degree in Anthropology from the Université Libre de Bruxelles and Aix-Marseille Université in 2019. After working as a teaching assistant in anthropology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, I was awarded a research fellowship from the F.R.S.–FNRS.
I am currently a PhD researcher in anthropology, and my dissertation examines how families and communities in countries of origin experience and make sense of disappearance following illegalized migration. My research is based on ethnographic fieldwork conducted in Morocco.
