Olawale Yemisi is a faculty member of the Department of History, Faculty of Arts at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Studies from Osun State University, Osogbo, Nigeria and a Master of Arts in History and International Relations from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Olawale is a Fellow, Ife Institute of Advanced Studies (IIAS), Fellow, Institute for Research and Policy Integration in Africa (IRPIA) and Member of the Diversity Scholars Network, National Centre for Institutional Diversity (NCID), University of Michigan (U-M). Olawale has attended several academic conferences, published his research as chapters in books and learned journals in local and international outlets.
