Miranda Lubbers is Professor at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), Spain. She directs the COALESCE Lab, which is part of a consolidated group recognized by the Catalan Government. Her research addresses migration and transnationalism, poverty and livelihood strategies, and social cohesion.
