Keiu Telve is an anthropologist and a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tartu and Edith Cowan University (supervised by Professor Loretta Baldassaar). She has studied work mobility and her main research interests are cross-border movement, family life and migration connections with technology. In her current work, she is developing the transnational civic engagement field with the theory of digital social inclusion. Keiu Telve is also a co-founder and researcher of the Applied Anthropology Centre of Estonia and conducts applied ethnographic research. She has been part of two international research consortsiums: "Inequalities in Motion: Transnational Families in the Estonian-Finnish Context" (Koneen Säätiön rahoittamassa 2015-2019) and "Inequalities of Mobility: Relatedness and Belonging of Transnational Families in the Nordic Migration Space" (​​Academy of Finland, 2015–2019)
