I am a scholar in religious studies with a focus on migration. I previously have conducted a field study in the Jungle of Calais (F) in 2015/16 where I investigated the role of religious spaces in precarious border contexts. Currently I am working on my PhD project "Managing Border Deaths in Southern Italy: Negotiations and Ritual Practices".
