I am a PhD student at the Department of Anthropology, Aarhus University. My PhD project sets out to explore the recent turn in Danish asylum legislation towards temporary protection and return of refugees to country of origin and its consequences for Syrian refugees in Denmark. More precisely, I study the temporary protection regime as it is experienced, negotiated and lived by Syrian youth and families living in Denmark.
