Gülşen Doğan is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science and International Relations at Koç University. Her research focuses on populism, authoritarianism, governance, disaster diplomacy, and migration diplomacy. She has been a researcher at think tanks like Istanbul-based, Istanbul Political Research Institute (IstanPol) and Washington-based, Middle East Institute (MEI). She is currently a researcher in Migration Research Center (MiReKoc)’s Horizon Europe Twinning project, BROADER.
