Trained in history, audiovisual and memory studies, she has been also working as a director of film documentaries. She is currently the President of Refugee’s Chair “Sérgio Vieira de Mello” (UNICAMP/UNHCR), International Fellow at Institut Convergences Migrations (ICM) and former coordinator of research centers at COCEN/UNICAMP.
