Meissner, Nora

Nora
Meissner

I am a PhD candidate and research assistant in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Tel Aviv University. In my PhD research, I explore high-skilled migration as a category of practice in unsettled times. In specific, I focus on the role of context and meaning in understanding migration decision-making based on a comparative study of young and highly educated migrants and non-migrants from Turkey and Israel residing in Istanbul, Tel Aviv and Berlin.
