During the Expert Meeting on CrossMigration Work Package (WP) 6 on Migration forms, which took place on 9 and 10 May, scholars gathered to discuss the aims, expectations and concrete outputs of their work. The meeting helped further the work of WP 6, by pointing at possible improvements on the database based on the different areas of expertise.

It was a very hands-on meeting, where close to a dozen researchers took to their computers to test the database and how to use it in relation to their areas of expertise. The experts noted that the database needs further refinement to be a fully serviceable tool for them. This feedback was noted, and it will be taken into consideration to improve the tool. Cathrine Talleraas, representing PRIO, the organization heading this WP, coordinated with the tool’s developers to ensure feedback was successfully implemented. Further discussion and agreement took place related to the landing pages.

The second set of sessions, on 10 May, was devoted to working on the Knowledge Accumulation Report (KAR). The workshops and plenary discussions resulted on agreement regarding the format for the document, and the shape of the collaboration, as well as a timeline that would ensure that WP 6 will meet its 25 June deadline.
