Paula Zambelli Salgado Brasil holds a PhD in Political and Economic Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and a Master's degree in Public Law from UNISINOS (Brazil). She is a lawyer, a psychologist, and a permanent faculty member of the Professional Master's Programme in Public Management and Public Policy at IDP (Brazilian Institute of Education, Development and Research), Brasília. She is a member of the Latin American Academic Network on Law and the Integration of Refugees. Her research focuses on migration policy, human rights, the State and public policy, health policies, including work on the experience of the municipality of São Paulo.
