Senior lecturer in International Migration and Ethnic Relations, working at the Department of Urban Studies, Malmö University, Sweden. With a background in Religious Studies, his research has dealt with religious and cultural minority groups, ethnoculturally diverse neighbourhoods, the role of culture in sustainable urban development, and, most recently, Islamophobia/anti-Muslim racism.
