I am Professor of Diaspora Studies at the University of Leeds, UK. Recently I have been awarded a Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship for 3 years on a project ‘On the Margins of Whiteness: How do Migrants Negotiate Racial Alliances?’. I am the Director of Centre for Ethnicity and Racism Studies, Leeds.
