Hooshmand Alizadeh received PhD degree in urban design from Newcastle University, UK in 2006. He is associate professor at the University of Kurdistan and senior postdoc researcher at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. He has more than fifteen years’ experience of teaching and research in Urban Studies, particularly dealing with different aspects of urbanism in general and public space in particular.
