Deniz Faize

F. Deniz Mardin is a medical doctor and she is currently working as a consultant both in “Refugee Health Policy” project conducted by ICAP Columbia University and in Medecine Sans Frontiere Project. She completed her PhD in Istanbul University, in Public Health Department. She received her MD in Bologna University with a thesis on New Reforms about Family Doctor´s System in Italy. She has diverse work experiences in health sector as primary health care, reproductive health, child and mother health and experiences in NGO projects as MSF’s psycho-social project for migrants and medical support for torture survivors in Turkish Human Rights Foundation. Her research interests are migration, access to health services, stigmatization toward migrants by health workers, contraceptive ways usage.
